Continuity of cooperation requiring systematic and harmonized approaches: Aram Ghazaryan received the delegation led by Vyacheslav Butko

On January 29, the Director of RS-Deputy Minister of IA Aram Ghazaryan received a delegation led by the Deputy Minister for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Butko.

Welcoming the guests on behalf of Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan, Aram Ghazaryan expressed his gratitude for the joint activity and emphasized the importance of the activities of the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center.

According to Aram Ghazaryan, over the past ten years the Center was addressed its assigned tasks with responsibility and a commitment to prompt response.

The RS Director noted that modern challenges require systematic approaches from the Armenian and Russian rescue services in the context of ensuring population protection, preventing emergency situations and providing humanitarian assistance.

Aram Ghazaryan also assured that the Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue to make every possible effort to further strengthen cooperation.

Vyacheslav Butko expressed his gratitude the hosts for the warm reception and emphasized that direct dialogue with the Rescue Service of the RA MIA was of great importance.

The Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters highlighted that the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center plays a special role in the bilateral cooperation agenda, having proven itself to be an effective and, most importantly, highly demanded platform.

Both sides reaffirmed the continuity of cooperation, particularly in the areas of capacity building and exchange of experience.

The Director of the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center Alexey Butyrskiy, presented the activities planned for 2025 of the Center and the priorities for the current year.

Aram Ghazaryan and Vyacheslav Butko also laid flowers at the Memorial to the Dedicated Rescuers.
