Dear Compatriots, Dear Colleagues,

I congratulate you on the occasion of World Civil Defense Day. March 1 marks this important day, highlighting the significance of civil defense as a fundamental means of ensuring the security of our country and people.

Civil defense is a most essential and effective systems for organizing public safety. It encompasses a comprehensive humanitarian process for protecting all segments of society and citizens, both in peacetime and wartime.

Today, as we celebrate World Civil Defense Day, we join global efforts to further strengthen our country’s defense capabilities and preparedness, ensuring we are ready to face any threat. This day also serves as a tribute to the vital role of our rescue forces in ensuring national security through their dedicated and highly trained efforts.

I express my gratitude and deep appreciation to all employees of the Civil Defense System of the Republic of Armenia for their irreplaceable efforts aimed at organizing the protection of our population and ensuring its security.

The Rescue Service of the R|A Ministry of Internal Affairs places great emphasis on the development of the civil defense system, continuously ensuring the high readiness of our rescue forces, both in emergency situations and in cases of armed conflicts.

In line with the spirit of this day, our motto is: "No citizen, family, or community should remain unprepared or unprotected, regardless of the complexity or severity of the situation". We strive to ensure a high level of protection for our citizens by focusing on public education and awareness, implementing preventive measures, and guaranteeing population safety in emergencies.

Dear Compatriots, 

Only through joint and coordinated efforts can we build the capacity to respond effectively to any threat. Our preparedness, awareness, and courage make our security unbreakable.

I once again congratulate everyone on World Civil Defense Day and reaffirm my confidence that we will continue to work with great responsibility to ensure the safety of our people and to overcome any challenge.
