On April 1, the Director of RS-Deputy Minister of IA Aram Ghazaryan visited the Fire and Rescue Squads of Jermuk, Vayk and Yeghegnadzor of Vayots Dzor Regional Rescue Department.

Aram Ghazaryan got acquainted with the building conditions of the subdivisions, their technical equipment and the tactics of responding promptly to emergency calls.

Aram Ghazaryan instructed to align the activities of the subdivisions with the new strategic approaches adopted by the Rescue Service, emphasizing the need for coordinated, targeted measures for preparedness and disaster risk management to counter modern challenges.

During the visit, the RS Director also monitored the construction activities on the new administrative building of Yeghegnadzor Fire and Rescue Squad.

During the working meeting, Aram Ghazaryan emphasized the importance of the continuity of theoretical knowledge and practical training referring to the improvement of the professional skills of the personnel.

He assured the competitiveness of rescue subdivisions is based on the periodic analysis of accumulated experience and the application of innovative methods, which directly contributes to the correct and quick orientation in complex situations.

Highly appreciating the capabilities and professional training of the staff, the RS Director expressed his gratitude for the extensive activity done.
