On January 16, at 16։03 an emergency call was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Ashnak-Katnaghbyur roadway.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Toyota” and “Opel” cars collided at the 65th km of Yerevan-Gyumri roadway. “Opel” car ran off the roadway and overturned. The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars, pulled the passenger of “Opel” car out of the car and moved to the ambulance. The driver and passenger were hospitalized in a medical center.
