On July 17, at 19:52 information was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that citizen had threatened to commit suicide by jumping from the roof of a building on P. Sevak Street in Gyumri town.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

The rescuers alongside police officers prevented a citizen's suicide attempt: the latter was taken to the Mushi Police Division.
