On August 24, at 18:38 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that the citizens had unable to move in the water and brought ashore: urgent care was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.  

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the emergency workers on the spot pronounced the death of E. Gh. (born in 1955).
