On February 22, at 15:32, an emergency call was received to 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA that a citizen had been attempting to commit suicide by jumping off Victory Bridge: the rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department and the group on duty from Psychological Assistance and Medical Care Provision Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the citizen had jumped off the bridge.

The rescuers pulled the citizen's dead body out of the Hrazdan River and moved to the mortuary vehicle on a stretcher.

The psychologist on duty provided psychological assistance to three citizens at the scene.
