On March 9, at 08:42 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near Zolakar village.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that at the 8th kilometer of Martuni-Vardenis roadway, “Mercedes-Benz” car ran off the roadway, overturned and appeared in a nearby field.

The rescuers pulled the driver's dead body and passengers out of the car and moved them to ambulance and patrol cars: the casualties were moved to a medical center.
