On March 5, at 19:32 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that car had collided with a passenger train in Burastan village of Ararat province.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that on the 3rd kilometer of Burastan-Byuravan roadway, near Burastan village, “South Caucasus Railway” CJSC passenger train and “VAZ” car collided, as a result of which the driver and passenger of “VAZ” car died on the spot.

The rescuers pulled the two stuck passengers of “VAZ” car out via special equipment: the casualties were hospitalized to medical centers, then the dead bodies were taken out and moved to the mortuary vehicle.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery of the car, implemented patrolling and loaded the car to the tow truck.
