On March 9, at 15:11 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Stepanavan-Amrakits roadway, there was a stuck citizen: rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that two “Opel” cars collided on the 2nd kilometer on Stepanavan-Amrakits roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, three casualties were pulled out of the cars by local forces and moved to a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries, closed the gas valves of the cars, implemented cleaning activities of the road, pulled one stuck casualty out of the car and moved to an ambulance: the latter was hospitalized to a medical center.
