On March 5, at 22:49 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred at the beginning of Hunan Avetisyan Street in Kapan town, there was a fire hazard.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Lexus” car ran off the roadway and crashed into the wall of the store: there was no fire hazard.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver was pulled out of the car by local forces and hospitalized to medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car.
