On March 4, at 00:05 information was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Haghtanak-Alaverdi roadway, there were victims: rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit and the operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that at the 23rd kilometer of Alaverdi-Noyemberyan roadway “Mercedes-Benz” and “DAF” cars had collided, as a result of which the driver and three passengers of “Mercedes-Benz” car died on the spot.

The rescuers pulled the dead bodies of the driver and one passenger out of “Mercedes-Benz” car. The dead bodies of the other two passengers were out of the car: the rescuers moved the dead bodies to the mortuary vehicle.
