On December 24, at 14:00 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred at the beginning of Garni village: cars collided, there were victims and casualty, as well as fuel leak.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Honda” (driver A. A. born in 1992) and “Opel” (driver R. Kh. born in 1960) cars collided. The driver of “Honda” car and the passenger A. O. (born in 1990) died on the spot.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of “Opel” had been hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers closed the gas valve of “Honda” car, moved the dead bodies to the mortuary vehicle, moved “Honda” car tow truck, implemented cleaning activities on spilled fuel and lubricants.
