On February 6, at 15:05 an emergency call was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near the tower of Bazmaberd village: there were casualties. The rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched at the scene. 

It turned out that “VAZ-2121” (driver A. Kh. born in 1991) and “VAZ-2107” (driver V. P. born in 1961) cars collided on the 66th km of Yerevan-Gyumri roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of "VAZ-2121" car and passenger E. Kh. had been hospitalized in medical center. The dead body of the other passenger G. Kh. (born in 1967) was found near the car.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars, pulled the driver and passenger Z. P. of “VAZ-2107” car out via special equipment.  The driver also died on the way to the hospital.
