On April 2, at 23։11 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Operative Management Center that car accident had occurred at the 2nd km of Charentsavan-Fantan roadway: the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that two "Mercedes-Benz" cars collided. One of the drivers died on the spot, while the other driver and 4 casualties were transferred to a medical center.

The rescuers blocked off the scene, disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas cylinder valves of the cars. The dead body of "Mercedes-Benz" car driver was moved to the mortuary vehicle and the road washing activities was taken.
