On December 15, at 22:51 an emergency call was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near Marmarashen highway in Gyumri town.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “BMW” (driver A. M. born in 1992) and “VAZ” (driver E. M. born in 1983) cars collided. The passenger of the latter was stuck in the car.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of “VAZ” car and the passenger L. M. (born in 2013) had been taken to medical centers.

The rescuers disconnected automotive battery and closed the gas cylinder valve of “VAZ” car, pulled the stuck passenger L. M. (born in 1958) out and with the passenger G. T. (born in 1963) moved to the ambulance. The casualties were hospitalized in a medical center.
