On August 10, at 14:41 information was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident had occurred on Artashat roadway of Yerevan city: cars collided, smoke was visible from one of them and there were casualties. The rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Volvo", 2 "Nissan" and "Hyundai" cars collided. The passengers of "Volvo" car were hospitalized in medical centers. 

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries of the cars and closed the gas valves of “Nissan” and “Volvo” cars, as well as moved the driver of “Nissan” car to the ambulance. The latter was hospitalized in a medical center.
