On July 29, at 18:24 an emergency call was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred in Akhuryan village.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Opel" and "Mercedes-Benz" cars collided․ 

Before the rescuers arrived on the scene the driver of "Mercedes-Benz" car had been pulled out of the car: the employees of the ambulance rendered appropriate assistance to the casualty on the spot.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries, closed the gas valves of the cars, blocked off the scene, pulled the driver of "Opel" out of the car moved to the ambulance. the casualty was hospitalized at the medical center.
