On August 15, at 01:19 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident with fire had occurred at the crossroads of Italy and Grigor Lusavorich Streets: there were casualties. The rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Mazda" and "Chevrolet" cars collided. 

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries of the cars and brought one victim to an ambulance. The latter was hospitalized at a medical center.
