On August 28, at 01:08 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident had occurred at the crossroads of Noragavit 1st Street and Arshakunyats Avenue of Yerevan city: three cars collided and there was a gas leak.

Three fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that "Toyota" (driver S.S. born in 1969), "VAZ" (driver S.K. born in 1986) and "BMW" (driver V. V. born in 1984) cars collided: the gas leak occurred from "Toyota" car.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the passenger of "Toyota" car Z. M. (born in 1960) had been hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries of "Toyota" and "VAZ" cars and closed the gas valve of "Toyota" car.
