On March 18, at 00:02 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near Paruyr Sevak village on Yerevan-Meghri roadway: there was a casualty. The rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Skoda” car and “GAZ” truck collided at the 73rd km of Yerevan-Meghri roadway. The driver of “Skoda” died on the spot.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver and passenger of “GAZ” truck had been taken out of the car by local forces and hospitalized to a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of “GAZ” truck, took the cleaning actions of the road, pulled the driver's dead body from “Skoda” and moved to the ambulance.
