On November 27, at 23։40 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident had occurred near Gagarin village in Gegharkunik province: a citizen was stuck.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “ZIL” truck and “Opel” car collided at the 52nd km of Yerevan-Ijevan roadway. The driver of “Opel” car was stuck.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the stuck driver had been pulled out by the local forces and taken to a medical center, where he was pronounced dead.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars.
