On February 5, at 20:36 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident had occurred on the North-South roadway: there were casualties. The rescuers’ help was needed.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched at the scene. 

It turned out that “Mercedes-Benz” (driver L.Ye.) and “BMW” (driver G. G.) cars collided on the unexploited section of the North-South roadway. The driver of “BMW” car died on the spot.

The rescuers pulled the driver and passenger S. Ye. “Mercedes-Benz” car out and moved to the ambulance. G. G’s dead body was moved to the mortuary vehicle. The casualties were hospitalized in medical centers.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries of the cars.
