On April 29, at 16:06 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Goris-Hartashen roadway: there was a casualty.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that “Lexus”, “VAZ” and “Renault” cars collided at the 7th km of Goris-Hartashen roadway. The driver of “VAZ” died.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver and passenger of “Lexus” had been taken to a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves to the cars, as well as pulled the dead body of “VAZ” driver from the car with the help of special equipment and moved to the mortuary vehicle.
