On December 13, at 08:24 an emergency call was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Ashtarak-Ejmiatsin roadway: there were casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It was found that ""Opel", "UAZ" (driver S. A. born in 1982), "VAZ", "Dodge" (driver H. O. born in 1963) and "Opel" (driver H. M. born in 1999) cars collided on the 2nd km of Ashtarak-Sassounik roadway: the driver  of "VAZ" car and one passenger of "UAZ" car were hospitalized to a medical center.

The rescuers pulled passenger M. H. out of “Opel” car. The latter was hospitalized with the driver to a medical center.

The rescuers closed the gas valves and disconnected automotive batteries of the cars.
