On September 11, at 17։45 information was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near the crossroads of Malishka village.

One fire unit from Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “VAZ” car ran off the roadway (about 30 meters) and rolled into a gorge at the 126th km of Yerevan-Meghri roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver and four passengers had been pulled out of the car by the local forces.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, moved the driver and one passenger to the ambulance. The casualties were hospitalized at a medical center.
