On August 21, at 07:50 information was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Sevan-Yerevan highway: there were casualties and the rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Nissan" car ran off the roadway and overturned crashing into roadside embankments at the 71st km of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the passenger had been hospitalized in Sevan Medical Center.

The rescuers closed the gas valve of the car.
