On May 15, at 07:06 information was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near the 2nd km of Alaverdi-Vanadzor roadway.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Lexus” car ran off the roadway, crashed into a concrete barrier and overturned near the 13th km of Alaverdi-Vanadzor roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, two passengers had been hospitalized.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, as well as blocked off the scene.
