On December 12, at 20:02 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident had occurred near "Defense Housing" residential district on North-South highway of Yerevan city: car crashed into a barrier and there were casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched.

It turned out that “Opel” car (driver K. Y. born in 2006) ran off the roadway and crashed into the concrete barrier of the Defense Housing residential area.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the passenger G. Kh. had been hospitalized in a medical center.
The rescuers blocked off the area.
