On August 30, at 14:07 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near Gagarin village: there were casualties and the rescuers’ help was needed.

Two fire units from Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “BMW” car overturned on the roadway near the 60th km of Ijevan-Sevan-Yerevan roadway. The driver's dead body was found outside the car.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, a passenger had been hospitalized at a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, moved the driver's dead body to the ambulance.
