On May 19, at 09:25 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that cars accident had occurred on Shahumyan-Taperakan roadway: a car fell into a water pipe. There was a casualty.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “VAZ” car ran off the roadway and overturned in the middle of the field at the 1st km of Shahumyan-Taperakan roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver had been pulled out of the car by the local forces.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, as well as moved the driver to the ambulance. The casualty was hospitalized in a medical center.
