On August 18, at 15։18 an emergency call was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Vayk-Saravan roadway: the car fell into a river.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Dodge” car ran off the roadway and fell into the Darb River at the 149th km of Yerevan-Meghri roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver and two passengers had been pulled out of the car by the local forces.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, pulled one passenger out of the car and moved to the ambulance. The casualties were hospitalized to a medical center.
