On July 19, at 19:14 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near “Artsvi tever” monument on Yerevan-Sevan roadway: there were citizens trapped inside.

The rescue group from Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of Rescue Forces Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Opel" car crashed into the road’s median barrier.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, pulled the driver and the passenger out of the car and moved to the ambulance: they were hospitalized at a medical center.
