On September 12, at 04։34 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near the former road police station in Argavand village: a car crashed into a pole and there was a casualty.

One fire unit from Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Hongqi” car ran off the roadway and collided with an outdoor lighting pole on the Yerevan highway in Argavand village. The pole fell onto the roadway, blocking it.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, two casualties had been hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers blocked off the scene, washed the road and implemented the patrolling.
