On November 9, at 20:56 an emergency call was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on the roadway leading to Getk village: the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "VAZ" car (driver H. G. born in 1957) and a "KamAZ" truck (driver A. B. born in 1984) cars collided at the end of Getk village on Gyumri-Armavir roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of "VAZ" car, passengers A. A. (born in 1990), J. H. (born in 2011), H. H. (born in 2014) and A. H. (born in 2022) had been pulled out of the car by the local forces. The doctors pronounced the death of H. G. on the spot and the casualties were taken to medical centers.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery of “VAZ”, closed the gas valve of “KamAZ” truck with trailer and removed it from roadway partially: the roadway was one-way closed.
