On July 25, from 20:30 emergency calls were received to Yerevan and Regional Crisis Management Centers that due to strong winds and rain, trees had been uprooted, roof sheets and apartment windows had been damaged, electric poles and cables had caught fire, basements had been flooded, and cars had become trapped in rainwater in Shirak, Kotayk, Gegharkunik, Ararat provinces and in Yerevan city. Rescue assistance was required.

Fire units from Yerevan and Regional Rescue Departments of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers carried out activities including cutting and removing fallen trees, dismantling loosened roof sheets, extracting trapped vehicles, draining flooded areas, and blocking off hazardous zones.

A total of 33 emergency incidents were reported due to the strong wind: 26 in Yerevan city, 1 in Shirak, 3 in Kotayk, 2 in Gegharkunik, and 1 in Ararat Provinces.

The rescuers responded to all calls, providing the necessary assistance.
