On May 27, at 08:30 an emergency call was received to 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA that gas cylinder explosion had occurred in a house on 19th Street in Areni village.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

According to preliminary data, the explosion occurred due to a leak from a gas cylinder. Two people were taken to a medical center with moderate injuries.
