On February 24, at 11:49 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that car was noticed in a gorge on Vanadzor-Alaverdi roadway, in the section called “Satani Kamurj”.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department and the operative group of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that, under yet undisclosed circumstances, at the 13th kilometer of Vanadzor-Alaverdi roadway, “Mercedes-Benz” car (driver A. G., born in 1992) ran off the roadway and appeared in Pambak river: there was a victim.

The rescuers pulled the dead body of the driver out of the valley (about 5 meters away from the car) and moved it to the mortuary vehicle.
