On August 28, at 18։04 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that mowed fields had been on fire in the fields adjacent to Kakhak village.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of Ra dispatched to the scene. 

The fire was localized at 19:26 and extinguished at 19:58. About 25 ha of mowed fields were burnt.
