On November 16, at 17:31 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that grassland had been on fire in the field near the 18th km of Gavar-Martuni roadway.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 19:15 and extinguished at 19:40. About 20 ha of grassland was burnt.
