On September 11, at 20։32 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that harvested wheat field had been on fire near the railroad tracks of the Vardenis-Mets Masrik roadway.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 21:31 and extinguished at 21:41. About 15 ha of harvested wheat fields were burnt.
