On January 11, at 13։37 information was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that vegetation had been on fire at the edge of Verin Khotanan village.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 16:28 and extinguished at 16:45. About 10 ha of vegetation were burnt. 10 residents of the village participated in the firefighting activities.
