On August 8, at 19:50 emergency calls were received to Crisis Management National Center that trees had fallen, roofs of the buildings - damaged, exterior cladding tiles - torn off and traffic lights - weakened in Yerevan city.

The fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers responded to all calls, carrying out activities to cut and remove broken tree branches, demarcate areas and dismantle weakened roof sheets and traffic lights.
