57 emergency cases were registered due to the wind: the rescuers providing appropriate assistance responded to all of them

On May 11, from 15:45 the emergency calls were received to the National and Regional Crisis Management Centers that roof sheets, rain pipes and trees had been damaged and fallen in Yerevan city and Abovyan, Vanadzor, Dilijan, Ijevan, in Jamshlu of Aragatsotn province, Aghavnadzor, Pyunik of Kotayk province and Mrgastan of Armavir province due to the wind: the rescuers' help was needed.
The fire units, autoladders from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan and Regional Rescue Departments, the operative groups from Crisis Management National Center and Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of Rescue Forces Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.
The rescuers implemented activities on blocked off the scenes, dismantling roofs (particularly on Heratsi Street of Yerevan city) and constructions, strengthening rainwater and smoke pipes and dismembering and removing fallen trees.
As a result of strong winds, 57 emergency cases were registered: 44 in Yerevan, 1 in Armavir, 2 in Aragatsotn, 4 in Lori, 2 in Tavush, 3 in Kotayk and 1 in Ararat provinces.
The rescuers responded to all calls and provided appropriate assistance.
