On January 3, at 13։27 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that grassland had been on fire in "Congo" cemetery in Vanadzor town.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 14:57 and extinguished at 15:31.About 15 ha of grassland was burnt on the hillside near the cemetery.
